Durham Cathedral Rose Window
Acrylic Gouache on Saunders Waterford Paper (56x56cm +additional border for mounting)
"This painting depicts the stunning rose window in Durham Cathedral.
Originally created in the 15th Century this window portrays Christ surrounded by the apostles, and by the 24 elders from Revelation.
It has been created using acrylic gouache paints which have been identified as having excellent light fastness. The paper is 450gsm watercolour paper with excellent archival quality.
Acrylic gouache colours are extremely vibrant with a flawless matt finish. The photos really don't do them justice!"
