Westminster Abbey Rose Window
Acrylic Gouache on Saunders Waterford Paper (65x65cm)
"This beautiful Rose Window is located in the south transept of Westminster Abbey, London. It was designed by Sir James Thornhill and measuring at thirty-two feet across, it is the largest of its type.
The window shows Christ surrounded by sixteen figures symbolising the Virtues and order of angels. In the outer circle thirty-two figures from Jewish and ancient tradition represent the preparation of the world for Christ."
