"The Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Truro is a Church of England cathedral in the city of Truro, Cornwall. It was built between 1880 and 1910 to a Gothic Revival design by John Loughborough Pearson on the site of the parish church of St Mary. It is one of only three cathedrals in the United Kingdom with three spires."
Truro Cathedral boasts three great rose windows which reflect the Trinity:
God the Father/Creator appears in the great West window which is divided into seven sections for the seven days of creation.
Jesus, the Son of God, is at the heart of the North transept rose surrounded by the prophets and his antecedents: Jacob, Isaac, Judah and Abraham, leading through to Mary and Joseph.
The Holy Spirit is at the centre of the South window with the twelve apostles around the edge.
This painting captures the story of Creation located in the West Nave.
