"Gloucester Cathedral, formally the Cathedral Church of St Peter and the Holy and Indivisible Trinity, stands in the north of the city near the River Severn. It originated in 678 or 679 with the foundation of an abbey dedicated to Saint Peter.
This drawing depicts Gloucester Cathedral in its modern setting. Many of the shops in this area are period properties and it's only the figures in this scene that remind you that this is the 21st century!"
This drawing forms part of a wider collection of works inspired by churches, exploring modern society's relationship with religion.
