Acid-free warm white double mount and backing board
This stunning stained glass window is made up of fragments of medieval glass that have been put together randomly following the destruction of the original panes by Oliver Cromwell's army during the civil war in 1642.
The result of this randomised piecing together of broken glass creates a striking mosaic effect. The strong angular lines and bold, primary colours also capture an aspect of Mondrian's work, making it appear more contemporary than it truly is.
You can own this beautiful painting which captures every fragment of glass with painstaking accuracy. The colours are extremely vibrant and contrast with the rich jet black of the leading. This painting will be sure to stop any visitor in their tracks.
